During the lingering summer heat, preparing for rice shipment

October has arrived, but the hot days continue.

We recently harvested Uonuma Koshihikari rice and are now drying and husking it.
Husking is a process involves removing the husks and turning into brown rice.

After drying and husking the rice through a machine, we are filling rice bags with it.

The rice bags weigh 30kg each.
Stacking them multiple times has left me with a full-body muscle ache.
